Automatic lens cap for the Leica D-LUX (Typ 109) which replaces the standard cap.

Turn the power on and the lens extends through the  auto lens cap.  Turn the power off and the auto lens cap retracts with the lens.  The auto lens cap helps protect the lens when not in use.
