• In 2001, Leica produced a limited edition run of 1,000 Leica M6 TTL Titanium camera bodies. The camera’s top and base plates are coated in titanium plating over brass and the leather covering is a unique “soft brown Buffalo leather.” Otherwise, the camera is mechanically identical to a standard M6 TTL which means it features TTL-flash capability, a larger shutter dial versus a regular M6, a 0.72x magnification viewfinder and compatibility with Leica’s full range of M-system lenses.
•  The Leica M6/M6 TTL is one of Leica's most popular cameras. Purchasing a used M6 version is a great way to enter into the world of Leica. Made between 1984 and 2002, this rangefinder was Leica's most advanced camera at the time.

  The Leica M6 TTL was an update to the M6.  After the release of the TTL M6, Leica issued a Special Edition version of 1,000 units of the M6 TTL model in a Titanium finish. One of the stand-out features of the Titanium version is the unique leather body cladding made from thick Buffalo leather. Another feature of this camera is that the top and bottom plates are made from brass covered in Titanium as opposed to the original M6 Titanium which the top and bottom plates are die cast zink covered in Titanium.

  This particular M6 TTL Titanium has no visible marks on the top and bottom plates, but the leather cladding is lightly scuffed. The rubberized mechanical shutter has a nice soft click. The film compartment is very clean and the shutter curtain is in excellent condition. The overall look and feel of the camera is very clean and in excellent condition.
